In general, the initialing of the peace agreement in the US, instead of its signing, reveals the consistency of Azerbaijan's position, said Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a special meeting held at the Cabinet of Ministers—and dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev's recent visit to Washington, APA reports.

The minister said that the appeal to close the OSCE Minsk Group and related structures has been circulated among the OSCE countries and a decision is expected on September 1.

To note, the Armenian authorities have assured that the request to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group will be signed after signing a peace agreement with Azerbaijan.
