The repeal of the 907th amendment marks the beginning of a new period of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the US, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a special meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Washington, Azerbaijani media reported.

According to Bayramov, in order to further strengthen ties between the two countries, appropriate work will be carried out with the US Congress in this direction.
