The government of Armenia approved, at its Cabinet meeting Thursday, the agreement with the government of China on international road transportation of passengers and cargo between the two countries.

The explanation for this decision states that the international road transportation of passengers and cargo between Armenia and China is not regulated, this hinders the implementation of transportation and economic cooperation between the two countries, and the signing of this agreement is expected to resolve the abovementioned issue.

The agreement will contribute also to the promotion of mutually beneficial economic and business ties between Armenia and China, the development of the interstate transportation sector by road, and the expansion of cooperation within the framework of international transport corridors.
