Georgian Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili and US Chargé d'Affaires, ad interim, Alan Purcell met in Tbilisi, the Ministry of Economy of Georgia informed, News-Georgia reports.

Among other matters, they discussed the prospects for international routes, with the expectation of unblocking of transport communications between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Kvrivishvili said that the peace agreements initialed between Yerevan and Baku, brokered by US President Donald Trump, "have opened up new opportunities for development in the South Caucasus region."
