Iran has commented on the announcement of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Pakistan.

“We [i.e. Iran] have good relations with Pakistan and Armenia,” said Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, Mehr reports.

Armenia and Pakistan have announced the establishment of diplomatic relations between them, and Baghaei positively assessed this development.

“We [i.e. Iran] hope that the establishment of relations between our two neighbors will strengthen the potential of the countries of the region,” he noted
