Air traffic restrictions have been introduced in the eastern part of Poland, along the borders with Belarus and Ukraine, reported the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA).

A complete ban on flights at night is in effect, with the exception of military aviation.

Also, a 24-hour ban is imposed on flights of civilian drones.

The restriction is being introduced to ensure national security, PANSA added.

The Polish armed forces had announced on Wednesday night that they had neutralized Russian drones that had violated Polish airspace.
