Political consultations between the Armenian and French foreign ministries took place in Paris on September 16. The consultations were held by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and Head of the Continental Europe Department of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs Brice Roquefeuil.

During the consultations, cooperation programs between the two countries in the fields of economy, infrastructure, defense, and culture were discussed, as well as prospects for their further development and expansion. 

Issues of current cooperation in international organizations and other multilateral platforms were also discussed. In this context, the need for continued mutual support and additional efforts to bring approaches closer on issues of mutual interest was emphasized.

Issues related to the Armenia-EU partnership agenda were touched upon. France's positive role in expanding and developing this agenda was noted.
