US President Donald Trump is disappointed with the actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but is not yet ready to publicly stop his support for Israel, sources said, The Wall Street Journal reports.

According to these  sources, Trump has told several of his aides in recent weeks that Netanyahu prefers to use military force to force Hamas to capitulate rather than a negotiated settlement the American leader wants.

Trump's frustration with Netanyahu intensified last week, hours after Israel attacked Hamas negotiators in Qatar, the sources added.

According to them, the US president has bluntly told his senior aides that Netanyahu is tired.

But Trump is unlikely to stop his support for Israel, these sources believe.
