US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan could apply to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine as well, US special envoy Steve Witkoff said in an interview with Fox News.

"President [Trump] wants to see an overall peace. It's not just about Gaza; it's about how this might percolate into all other areas in the Middle East, and what it's going to achieve; maybe even percolate into Russia and Ukraine," Witkoff said.

Both conflicts need to be resolved, but unlike the Ukrainian crisis, a settlement plan already exists for Gaza, the US special envoy added.
