President Donald Trump, alongside other regional leaders, signed the Gaza ceasefire deal during a summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, hailing it as a “very important signing,” CNN reports.

“We seek tolerance, dignity, and equal opportunity for every person ensuring this region is a place where all can pursue their aspirations in peace, security, and economic prosperity, regardless of race, faith, or ethnicity,” the first paragraph on the last page reads.

The bottom half of the page includes the signatures and titles of regional leaders and ceasefire deal mediators from the US, Egypt, Qatar and Turkey.

"This is the day that people across the region and around the world have been working, striving, hoping and praying for. At long last, we have peace in the Middle East. And it's a very simple expression, peace in the Middle East. We're here to celebrate tonight more than the end of the war in Gaza. It's with God's help. It'll be the new beginning for an entire beautiful Middle East. From this moment forward, we can build a region that's strong and stable and prosperous and united in rejecting the path of terror once and for all,” Trump stated, Fox News reports.
