LONDON. - Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour and his family assisted police to rescue a man, who was trying to drown in the sea near the guitarist’s home in Great Britain, Telegraph reports.

Gilmour’s wife noticed the body on Wednesday, they took it out, but when the man gained consciousness he wanted to throw himself to the sea again, RIA Novosty reports.

Besides, police took the man trying to commit a suicide by drowning away in handcuffs.

 The man was arrested and, after receiving medical aid, sent to the psychiatric hospital, police informed.
