Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Chairperson-in-Office, Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen.

Congratulating Aliyev on the successes achieved between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington in August, Valtonen noted their significance for restoring peace and stability in the OSCE area and for regional cooperation, reports AZERTAC.

Also, she recalled that based on a petition from Azerbaijan and Armenia, the activities of the OSCE Minsk process and related organizations will be terminated as of December 1.

In turn, Aliyev emphasized that the agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia, witnessed by US President Donald Trump in Washington, create conditions for advancing the peace agenda.

Furthermore, the Azerbaijani leader reflected on the importance of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, noted that Armenia has undertaken commitments in Washington for its implementation from the perspective of regional cooperation, and stated that it will benefit the entire region.
