Following a three-year pause in the implementation of a prisoner transfer agreement, four Iranians held in Azerbaijani prisons have been transferred to Iran, IRIB reports.

Iran’s Deputy Minister of Justice, Asghar Jalalian, stated: “Most of the crimes committed by Iranian prisoners in other countries, particularly neighboring countries, are related to the illegal trafficking and possession of narcotics, among other offenses.”
