Approximately 100 people were evacuated from the Krylatsky shopping center in western Moscow after an object resembling a grenade was found near the building’s entrance, a representative of the city’s emergency services told RIA Novosti.

Due to the discovery of the grenade-like object near the Krylatsky shopping center on Osenniy Boulevard, bomb disposal experts were called, and the area was cordoned off.

“For safety reasons, about 100 people were evacuated,” the agency’s source said.

He clarified that the suspicious object was found on the stairs to the left of the shopping center entrance, near the “Vkusno i Tochka” café.
