Russian forces attacked Kharkiv, causing at least three explosions, including a hit on a private kindergarten. One person was killed and six injured, according to city mayor Ihor Terekhov, Kharkiv OVA head Oleh Synehubov, and President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, reports Ukrainska Pravda.

“The strike hit a private kindergarten in the Kholodnogirskyi district; there are injured children. A fire broke out at the site of the strike,” the mayor said.

Later, Terekhov clarified that reports of injured children were not confirmed.

According to the mayor, preliminary data indicate that Russian forces used drones. The children were evacuated. Kharkiv OVA head Synehubov reported four people injured as a result of the attack.
