In the Yerevan Metro, one of the trains experienced a certain problem with its braking system, and due to the train slowing down, there was a 14-minute delay, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan said during a briefing with journalists after the government meeting on October 23.
He noted that the train has already been repaired and the problem has been resolved.
Earlier, NEWS.am reported that this morning, October 23, tense situations occurred at Yerevan Metro stations as trains were not moving for an extended period.
In this regard, the Yerevan Metro told NEWS.am: “At the ‘Gortsaranayin’ station, a technical problem occurred with one of the trains. It lasted about 15 minutes. The technical issue has already been resolved, and the metro is operating normally.”
