Romania’s involvement in any war is ruled out, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated in an interview with Antena 3 CNN.

“Romania will not create situations that would drag it into a war,” he said. “What Romania is doing now, and has done in recent years, is aimed at defending its borders, participating in European defense, maintaining strategic partnerships with the United States, NATO, and European partners, and ensuring that the military equipment we acquire secures the defense of our territory.”

“In line with this approach, contrary to some reports, there is no intention to start a war or send our youth to fight. Unfortunately, such misinformation appears quite often, and there is absolutely no basis for these claims,” the prime minister added.
