MOSCOW. – A new scandal is brewing around Il Pittore Italian restaurant in Moscow. Besides the fact that it did not follow fire security rules, it turned out that its chef was HIV-positive and suffered hepatitis.

In the blood of Anvar Satvoldiev, 38, who died of burns, HIV and hepatitis was observed. It is still unclear how could a person with such decease work in the kitchen, Life News reports.

His wife claims he was healthy and laboratory could have mixed the analyses. Investigation will reveal everything.

To note, the restaurant exploded in early January in Moscow. Two people died at the scene, while 40 were injured. Chief Director of Casabella restaurant, who is also the owner of Il Pittore, Suren Mkrtchyan is arrested.
