According to statistical data, planned crimes make up a very small percentage in Armenia. Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan stated this during the debates on the 2026 state budget draft of Armenia at the joint meeting of the standing committees of the National Assembly on Monday.

“The Republic of Armenia does not stand out in terms of statistics on organized and premeditated serious crimes. In our statistical picture, only a very small percentage of crimes are planned. Mainly, in the overall picture of murders, we observe cases that are a continuation of a dispute that arose under the influence of a certain moment,” assured the minister of internal affairs.
