“By the way, this Russian grade-3 wheat, which the citizen had referred to, has already become flour, then bread, and we have ALL eaten [it]. And as you can see, no one has been poisoned,” wrote Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan.

“1,000 tons is much less than what we consume every day,” Papoyan added.

Before this post, a user had asked Papoyan how they know that the wheat that came via Azerbaijan is not poisoned, to which the minister had replied: “I will be the first to eat the wheat question.”

It became clear Monday that the wheat brought from Kazakhstan to Armenia via Azerbaijan is grade 4, meaning it is for animal feed, while the wheat coming from Russia via the same route is of high grade.
