Trump estimates US losses at $1.5 trillion due to government shutdown

The United States lost 1.5 trillion dollars because of the government shutdown, President Donald Trump announced.
“The Democrats cost our Country $1.5 Trillion Dollars with their recent antics of viciously closing our Country,” he wrote, in particular, on Truth Social.
The US president added that the Democratic Party has put many people at risk, and now “they should pay a fair price” for it.
