The Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia, within the framework of state supervision, has conducted laboratory tests on batches of wheat imported to Armenia from Russia and Kazakhstan via Azerbaijan, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the aforesaid agency.

Accordingly, the entomological, plant pathology, and weed studies conducted during phytosanitary tests detected no harmful quarantine organisms.

Within the framework of safety indicators testing, toxic elements (heavy metals), pesticides, mycotoxins, and radioactivity were examined. As a result, no deviations from maximum permissible densities were recorded.

Laboratory studies of quality indicators are still ongoing, and the final results will be publicized once ready.
