YEREVAN. - US Ambassador to Armenia, John Heffern, and Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (ASCPEC) Chairman, Artak Shaboyan, had a meeting at ASCPEC, the latter’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

John Heffern highly evaluated the Commission’s activities toward improving Armenia’s competitive field, and stressed that this is important for Armenia, the American companies operating in Armenia, and for the foreign investors alike. The US Ambassador also expressed his readiness to assist ASCPEC in its future programs.         

In his turn, Artak Shaboyan presented to the Ambassador the statistics of ASCPEC’s decisions. He also reflected on the previous year’s legislative changes, and emphasized that these changes enable to work much more effectively.
