Azerbaijani trucks transporting tobacco have been stopped for more than 20 days at the Batumi and Tbilisi border crossings of Georgia.

Azerbaijani truckers say that Georgian trucks are allowed to pass, while the reasons for the delays for Azerbaijani trucks are not explained, Azerbaijani media report.

These trucks have been transferred to the supervision of the Georgian financial police, even though their cargo was supposed to transit to Europe.

According to the reports, Georgian customs officials are behaving rudely and do not provide explanations to Azerbaijani truckers.
