If the bishops agree, I will invite them to a meeting today to grasp their positions and approaches in more detail. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told this to a press briefing Thursday, as he commented on a group of bishops’ statement condemning Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, and the statement read by a reporter.

Pashinyan welcomed this statement, and said that it shows that the Armenian Apostolic Church has clergy who zealously carry out its spiritual mission. “Until a possible meeting, I will refrain from additional comments,” added the Armenian PM.
