The American delegation will arrive in Moscow in the first half of next week, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced, reports Kommersant.

“We will indeed sit at the negotiating table, and thoroughly and seriously discuss every proposed point,” Putin said at a press briefing during his visit to Kyrgyzstan.

The Russian leader noted that the composition of the visiting US delegation will be determined by his American counterpart, Donald Trump. Russia will be represented by presidential aides Vladimir Medinsky and Yuri Ushakov, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Vladimir Putin stated that the US has not yet provided Russia with draft peace agreements regarding Ukraine, but Moscow has received a series of questions proposed for discussion. “After the negotiations in Geneva between Ukraine and the United States, they have decided among themselves that all 28 points should be divided into four components. All of this has been conveyed to us [i.e. Russia], and overall, we agree that this can serve as a basis for future agreements,” the Russian president said.
