An explosion occurred at the Nippon Steel plant in Muroran city of Japan’s Hokkaido island, NHK reports.
According to reports, a fire broke out after the explosion.
As of Monday morning, rescuers were still fighting the fire.
There have been no reports of injuries.
The aforesaid company is located in Muroran’s industrial zone.
