YEREVAN. – Armenia’s parliamentary opposition Heritage Party leader, and former FM, Raffi Hovannisian is not against collaborating with another former FM, Vartan Oskanian, in fighting against election fraud.

During his press conference on Friday, Hovannisian reflected on Oskanian’s most recent statement and said: “We are ready [to collaborate] as citizens who fight against election fraud. If he wishes to discuss the margins of cooperation, I will delightfully meet.”

To the observation that Vartan Oskanian is being associated with former President Robert Kocharyan, Raffi Hovannisian responded: “Heritage [Party] is not vindictive and spiteful. We appreciate and criticize all the presidents.”

Heritage’s leader also denied the information, which is circulating in the press, that Armenia’s three former FMs (himself, Oskanyan, and non-parliamentary opposition’s Free Democrats Party member Alexander Arzumanyan) had held a meeting.

And according to Hovannisian, the opposition force is ready to cooperate with parliamentary, non-parliamentary, and even the ruling forces, if they want free and transparent elections in Armenia.
