Armenia’s cooperation with the European Union (EU) in the security sector has expanded. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this during a press briefing Tuesday after the sixth meeting of the EU-Armenia Partnership Council, in Brussels.

Mirzoyan recalled that Armenia has received the first part of assistance within the framework of the European Peace Facility. According to him, this opens new horizons for cooperation.

Security is one of the key areas of Armenia’s cooperation with the EU. There is confidence that this cooperation will strengthen Armenia’s resilience, including in light of new hybrid threats, emphasized the Armenian FM.
