The process of visa liberalization for Armenian citizens traveling to the European Union (EU) countries has started. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this during a press briefing Tuesday after the sixth meeting of the EU-Armenia Partnership Council, in Brussels.
There is progress in this regard through the implementation of the respective action plan, which will eventually lead to the vision of a visa-free regime, Mirzoyan added.
According to him, the partnership between Armenia and the EU is entering a new phase of strategic partnership. This is not the limit of Yerevan’s ambitions, added the Armenian FM.
He recalled that in March the Armenian National Assembly passed the law on EU membership process, and added that cooperation with the EU will further strengthen Armenia’s resilience.
