Revenues and expenditures have been reduced in the revised draft of Armenia’s 2026 state budget. Finance minister Vahe Hovhannisyan announced this during the debates on the revised 2026 state budget draft at Wednesday’s session of the National Assembly.

But funding for the Armenian prime minister’s office has been increased by 157.3 million drams.

“The ratio of national debt to GDP has decreased by 0.6 percentage points, reaching 52.9%, compared to 53.5% noted in the initial draft of the 2026 state budget,” Hovhannisyan said.

In addition, it has been decided to reduce Armenia’s state budget revenues by 0.2 billion drams. The same applies to official grants.

“State budget expenditures have decreased by 0.9 billion drams. This is due to the revaluation of the exchange rate,” the Armenian finance minister noted.
