Most of the inhabitants of the Earth (53 per cent) consider themselves happy and they are 4 time more than the unhappy ones (13 percent). Such are the survey results of sociologists. The annual international survey has been conducted by Gallup International Association in the framework of the Global Barometer of Happiness For 2011 project. 

According to that survey Armenians are mostly optimists as 70 per cent of them describe themselves as happy. Only 10 per cent consider themselves unhappy, 18 per cent are neither happy nor unhappy and 2 per cent could not answer the question. In total, 500 people were asked during the survey.

In Georgia, 38 per cent gave a neutral answer, 52 percent of 1,000 participants consider themselves happy, 6 per cent - unhappy, and 4 per cent could not answer the question. In Azerbaijan, 58 per cent are happy, 4 per cent are unhappy, 36 per cent are neutral, and 2 per cent did not inform about their condition.

The top 5 happiest countries are Fiji, Nigeria, Netherlands, Switzerland and Ghana.
