The formation of common markets for energy resources is an important condition for ensuring equal and predictable conditions for all EAEU member states, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting Thursday in Moscow.

“It is necessary to consistently move toward the creation of fully functional common markets that will ensure effective interaction, transparency, and balance of interests for all parties.

At the same time, it is particularly important to prioritize internal supply of EAEU member states over exports to third countries and to develop unified approaches for implementing this principle.

Under conditions of high volatility in global food markets, the stability of agricultural systems in EAEU countries takes on special significance for ensuring economic stability. Achieving competitive results directly depends on the implementation of coordinated practical measures, which include systemic introduction of innovations, digital transformation, as well as the creation and development of effective financial support mechanisms for joint industrial and agro-industrial cooperative projects.

In the context of implementing a ‘roadmap’ for creating favorable conditions for e-commerce development in the EAEU, we believe that it is advisable to pay special attention in the future stages to the consistency of the implementation of digital solutions, ensuring the compatibility of technological approaches used by member states. This will contribute to the simplification of e-commerce processes and the sustainable development of the digital environment within the framework of digitalization.

We consider it important to implement initiatives aimed at digital transformation across various sectors, including the customs-transport alliance.

At the same time, in the field of cybersecurity, priority should be given to establishing joint mechanisms for information protection, enhancing the stability of critical infrastructure, as well as developing standards and methods for responding to cyber threats.

Such a comprehensive approach will help strengthen trust, increase the level of digital environment security, and ensure safe and effective operation of processes.
