YEREVAN. – Ruling coalition member Orinats Yerkir party considers it is not a good time to change to 100% proportional system in Armenia prior to the parliamentary elections, head of Orinats Yerkir parliamentary group Heghine Bisharyan said at a press conference on Monday.

In response to the question that the issue is included in the February 15 parliamentary hearings, the MP said that it is possible to discuss but not a good occasion to change.

“Only three months are left for the elections,” MP said adding the party is not against shifting to proportional system, however it requires time and should not be done prior to the elections.

Parliamentary elections are scheduled for early May in Armenia
