The head of Turkey’s Igdir Province, which borders Armenia, visited the border checkpoint, Igdirovasi reports.

Igdir Governor Ercan Turan, together with members of various departments, visited the Alican border checkpoint adjacent to Armenia.

The senior Turkish officials examined the conditions for creating technical infrastructure and constructing appropriate facilities at the aforesaid border checkpoint to provide services in the event of a possible reopening of the Armenian-Turkish border.

Following the inspections at the border checkpoint, the officials held a roundtable discussion, during which they presented a roadmap related to the respective work.
