Our agencies are, yes, collecting and transmitting information on Vagif Khachatryan's health. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this at a press briefing Thursday—and regarding Armenian man Vagif Khachatryan, who is held in Azerbaijani captivity.
"At the moment, I cannot disclose more information than is publicly known," Pashinyan added. According to him, the relevant agencies of Armenia are working on this matter.
It was recently reported that Vagif Khachatryan was hospitalized in Azerbaijan in serious condition. His health condition was later announced to have improved.
In July 2023, the Azerbaijani side had also abducted Vagif Khachatryan, a resident of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), from the Hakari Bridge. He was coming to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, for heart surgery, accompanied by his daughter, and through the Red Cross.
