During European People’s Party (RPA) conference on Thursday the membership of Armenia’s ruling Republican Party will be discussed, the deputy speaker of the Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov told the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He added that that RPA is hoping for a positive decision.

To note, the European People’s Party is the largest joint European party. It includes 72 parties from 26 EU countries and 13 countries which are not part of the European Union.

To remind, several Armenian parties including the ruling Republican Party, the Orinats Yerkir and the opposition Heritage party have applied to the EPP for membership.
