Police forces, including State Security Service officers, are concentrated in the area of Saint Sargis Church in downtown Yerevan ahead of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit there today.

Earlier today, Pashinyan had issued a statement calling on everyone to participate in a procession on Tuesday, January 6—the Armenian Christmas day—which will start at 1:30pm from the courtyard of the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral downtown Yerevan and head to the Holy Mother of God Katoghike Church in downtown Yerevan.
