Armenia's political elite is gathering today at Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in downtown Yerevan to participate in the Armenian Christmas liturgy.
At this moment, President Vahagn Khachaturyan, National Assembly speaker Alen Simonyan, Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Minister Davit Khudatyan, and numerous ruling Civil Contract Party and its parliamentary faction members have already arrived at the church.
In recent years, none of Armenia's political elite has attended the Armenian Christmas liturgy, but today, like one person, they have assembled at the aforesaid church on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's instructions.
