YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Armed Forces must remain neutral during political events, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told news reporters on Wednesday.
He also promised to do the utmost so that the constitutional requirements are secured during the elections. “Every soldier is a citizen of Armenia, and they can take part in the elections as much as the individual citizens can favor a [political] figure, or a [political] party,” the Defense Minister noted.
