YEREVAN-Armenia and Russia are strategic partners and their cooperation on many issues is based on mutual understanding, said Secretary of Armenian National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan.

Baghdasaryan accompanied his Russian counterpart Nikolay Patrushev who met with representatives of Russian border security department and the 102nd military base.

Arthur Baghdasaryan mentioned that the issues concerning border security service are among the priority problems in Armenia. In this context, he gave appraisal of  the effective service of Russian frontier guards in Armenia.

“Given tasks are performed successfully,” Arthur Baghdasaryan stated.

He also mentioned that the visit of the Russian delegation opens a new stage in Armenian-Russian cooperation.
