Armenia's sovereign functions in the customs and border domains within the framework of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project are not subject to discussion. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a press briefing Thursday.

He recalled that earlier, the US had allocated $140 million for the preparation of the implementation of this work. According to him, future work is related to planning, but it is obvious that the respective investments will be large.

"Today, no one can tell you a number... how much needs to be invested," Pashinyan added.

He assured that the decision will not be made by the reception—i.e. the front office, but by the state agencies—i.e. the back office—of Armenia.

"We will get access to technologies that Armenia has not had access to before, and I hope that they will be used within the framework of the TRIPP project," the Armenian premier added.
