YEREVAN. – Armenia’s PM Tigran Sargsyan on Thursday reflected on the opposition Armenian National Congress’ political statement that the country’s civil society has established in the past four years. And as per Sargsyan, the press has played a huge part in this.   

The PM recalled that  Armenia advanced by 27 points in the latest Press Freedom Index of the Reporters Without Borders international organization.  

In the Index, which was made public in January, Armenia ranked 77th from among 179 countries.
