YEREVAN. – The proposal on changes in the Law on Trade and Services, whereby norms will be specified on the number of supermarkets in a certain area, was made by the ruling coalition’s Rule of Law Party, PM Tigran Sargsyan stated during Thursday’s Governmental session, and added: “We designed that bill together with our partners.”      

To note, this law proposal seeks limitations on the number of supermarkets in the capital Yerevan.

In his turn, Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan informed that according to the law proposals package, Yerevan Mayor will issue the permits for building supermarkets in the capital, whereas the community leaders will issue them in the regions.
