YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 388.71/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday. Hence, the dollar lost value by 0.29 points, or by 0.07 percent, as compared with Wednesday.    

The stock exchange opened Thursday’s trading session at AMD 389.25/$1, but the dollar’s sale subsequently grew, and the session closed at AMD 388/$1. 

The total sales were $8.85 million.

For the most part, Armenia’s exchange offices purchase US dollar at AMD 387/$1, and some offices have started selling it at AMD 389/$1.
