YEREVAN.- Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on Thursday the delegation headed by Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolay Patrushev.

President Sargsyan expressed satisfaction with dynamic development of the Armenian-Russian relations.

“The level of political dialogue, growing trade turnover volume, close cooperation in defense and humanitarian fields contribute to strengthening of bilateral relations,” he said.

Nikolay Patrushev called “useful and efficient” his meetings in Armenia.

“During the meeting we touched upon cooperation in defense sector, collaboration aimed at elimination of consequences of natural disasters,” he said.

Patrushev stressed that frequent contacts between the leadership of two states give an impetus to strengthening of bilateral ties.

President Sargsyan and Russian official also discussed regional problems and the Karabakh peace process.
