The “Board of Peace” Charter provides for membership in the “Board” on a voluntary basis of financial contributions. Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesperson Ani Badalyan stated this in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am’s question about how much the Republic of Armenia (RA) needs to pay for membership in the “Board of Peace.”
“A country invited by US President [Donald] Trump can become a member of the Board without a clearly defined membership fee for a period of up to three years, which is subject to review in accordance with the established procedure after the expiration of this period. The RA government has approved membership in the Board of Peace on these grounds,” added the Armenian MFA spokesperson.
