Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received Martin Eurnekian, CEO of the Corporacion America S. A. company, the press service of the government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The deputy premier assured the implementation of the aforesaid company's investment programs in key domains of importance in Armenia. In particular, the interlocutors stressed the importance of the negotiations held on the fifth amendment to Armenia's airport concession agreement from the perspective of further cooperation.
And at the end of the meeting, the parties signed the fifth amendment to the concession agreement that was approved by the Armenian government Thursday.
As reported earlier, the Armenian government on Thursday approved the fifth amendment to its concession agreement signed with Corporacion America S. A.
Accordingly, the airport concession agreement will be extended until 2067.
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan had stated that if the amendment was signed, starting from that day, Kapan city’s airport also can be operated as an international airport.
“That is, we will have the third international airport in Armenia,” he had added.
