Speaking with reporters, the minister of labor and social affairs of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, answering a question about those who were relocated to Armenia from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) today, simply noted that they are going to deal with their issues in the same way as they have dealt with the issues of the other more than 100,000 Armenians from Artsakh until now.

"Right now as well, our specialists, our partner departments are dealing with their issues with specialists, we will take care of all [their] needs, there will be healthcare, social, and other types of assistance [to them]. I ask that we simply not get into the personal lives of these people, because also taking into account the circumstances under which they left [Artsakh]. Some time will pass, some of them will want to talk. But at the moment, rest assured that all their issues are being dealt with. Their petition to be relocated to Armenia, as we see, was granted. They are already in Armenia," said Torosyan.

When asked how it happened that they all wrote such a petition together, the Armenian official replied: “This happened at their own request. As noted in the official statement, with the cooperation of the two countries [i.e. Armenia and Azerbaijan].”

“I believe that if our citizens and also our compatriots have a desire to return and come to live in the Republic of Armenia, all that must be granted; the rest is not important,” Torosyan added.

As reported earlier, Arsen Torosyan had informed on social media today that ten Armenians and one Russian citizen still in Artsakh had been relocated to Armenia.
