Our compatriots have left Goris, but we cannot say where they are at the moment. Spokesperson for the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Nver Kostanyan, on Monday told this to Armenian News-NEWS.am, referring to the 11 compatriots who were relocated from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia last week.

“They are under [Armenian] state protection, undergoing the necessary medical examinations and psychological support. People living alone and without relatives will be assisted by the [Armenian] state until they acquire an apartment within the framework of the state assistance program for housing for displaced persons,” Kostanyan added.

Earlier, Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan had informed that the aforesaid 11 compatriots who were relocated from Artsakh to Armenia underwent medical examinations, but one of whom was hospitalized at the Goris Medical Center.
